GoldenFest is the biggest, best dog-centered, family-friendly event in SouthWest Florida. It is held annually at the Shell Factory and Nature Park in North Fort Myers. GoldenFest XIV will be Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 10AM - 2PM. Admission and parking are free.
GoldenFest is a fundraising event that contributes significantly to Golden Retriever Rescue of SouthWest Florida's ability to care for Goldens and Golden mixes in need. At the same time it provides a wonderful day of fun for our community to enjoy and celebrate our canine best friends.
GoldenFest includes numerous canine demonstrations, like: Agility, Obedience, and Law Enforcement K-9s. We also have live music, food and drink, over 100 product and service vendors, pictures with Santa Paws, face painter, caricature artist, wading pools for the pups, pony rides for the kids, raffles, silent auctions, first responser exhibits (thanks to the Lee County Sheriff's Office and the North Ft Myers Fire District), and the incomparable Calendar Girls. A delightful day like no other in Southwest Florida.
While GoldenFest will directly benefit GRRSWF, the event is open to other non-profit rescue organizations, area shelters & humane societies at no cost. Attendees are encouraged to bring their well-behaved, leashed dogs and enjoy a fun-filled, golden day.
GoldenFest only happens once a year. You don't want to miss it.
We can't wait to see you again.
