GOLDENFEST XV - A Golden Day of Fun for Southwest Florida

GoldenFest is the premier, dog-centric, family-friendly event in Southwest Florida. GoldenFest XV will be held at the Lee Health Sports Complex - Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers in late 2025. The date will be announced soon. Admission and parking are complimentary.

GoldenFest is a fundraising event that significantly contributes to Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida’s ability to care for Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes in need. At the same time, it provides a delightful day of entertainment and celebration for our community to enjoy and honor our canine companions.

GoldenFest will feature canine demonstrations, Law Enforcement K-9s, music, food and beverages, over 100 product and service vendors, dock diving (Ultimate Air Dogs), photographs with Santa, face painting, caricature artistry, wading pools for dogs, pony rides and bounce houses for children, raffles, online auctions, first responder exhibits (courtesy of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, South Trail Fire District, and Lee County Emergency Medical Services), special appearances by Lisa Spooner and Christy Soto, anchors at NBC2, and the incomparable Calendar Girls. A day like no other awaits in Southwest Florida.

While GoldenFest directly benefits GRRSWF, the event is open to other non-profit rescue organizations, area shelters, and humane societies at no cost. Attendees are welcome to bring their well-behaved, leashed dogs and enjoy a fun-filled, golden day.
