Recognizing that a rescue was needed to help Goldens and Golden mixes in Southwest Florida, we formed our non-profit organization in 2009 to provide that assistance. We've grown considerably since then and have been there for over 1300 Goldens and Golden mixes, including almost 100 from South Korea, all thanks to the many helping hands in this amazing community!

We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit dog rescue organization. Based in Southwest Florida, we are dedicated to finding and caring for Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes that are homeless, abandoned in shelters or surrendered by their owners until we find them the perfect forever home.

GRRSWF Hosting Alumni Reunion & Volunteer Appreciation Event
Thanks to our GREAT friends at Bay Street Yard for hosting our first Reunion in ma. Delicious food, live entertainment, raffles, 50/50 and Golden fun as we celebrate our adopters and volunteers. Bring your pups and spend the afternoon in a sea of Goldens and Golden lovers. Admission is free, but an RSVP is requested.

Golden Retriever Rescue of Southwest Florida is committed to providing a safe haven and the best care possible for Goldens in need. To do that we use all means we can to raise funds to support our operations. Our Online Store is another way we do that. You can help us help them by shopping at our store for products you will love, both because they are great products and also because you are helping us care for these precious animals.
